Could Not Activate Cellular Data Network: You Are Not Subscribed to a Cellular Data Service
I just installed iPhone 3.0 firmware today. I was so excited.
I had no problems at all. All my games seem to be working, my music is now playing out of my bluetooth stereo headset, and I’m sending sms text messages in landscape mode. Then…..
I went to check my email and got this dreaded error message telling me my phone couldn’t connect to a data network and that I wasn’t subscribed to a data plan. Damn it! Nothing ever works for me. 
Now it’s time to Google.
I search and search and after resetting my network settings 3 times, hard resetting my iPhone 3G just as many times, I find an answer.
Here’s what you do:
Get on a wifi connection and type up http://www.unlockit.co.nz/#_Custom
Enter the following in the settings:
APN: wap.cingular
Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Now hit “Create Custom Profile” and be patient.
You’re going to be exiting out of Safari and asked if you want save what you just created. Be sure you typed in the settings correctly before you even get this far and then save that profile.
Now your data plan works again. TaDa!

Is their something that can be applied to Globe?
I’m from the Philippines and I cannot subscribe to a cellular data network because I think Globe has a restriction on my sim.

i keep getting “profile failed to install” ” the UUID for the profile “APN carrier settings is not unique” what does that mean?! HELP!

I jail broke my iPhone 3G 4.2.1 and BaseBand 5.04.15 with Sn0wBreeze 2.2 yesterday, and I wanted to unlock my iPhone 3G for any carrier (it is locked with AT&T), and I have my T-Mobile Sim that I want to use, but when I go to the Cydia App and open up, I go to http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com and do install, then 30 seconds later there is the script saying “Installed ultrasn0w” then the spinning loading wheel saying “Reloading”, and after I get a pop-up “Could not activate cellular data network”…
That is where I am stuck. What do I do? Please help me people, I will be sooooo gracious to your time and effort, I am begging you, please help me out! I have done so much research and done so many experiments but still nothing.

i have a i phone 3gs and on payg vodafone and can only use my wifi while near a router etc…. this should not be the case as i pay for internet use when io top up ive tried this and then turned my router of in hoome but no joy no internet

i brought my iphone from US and i want to use it in India . iphone is not jailbreaken .seems cellular data connection could not activate when using safari . i have no wifi connection .sim is tatadocomo .also itune says can’t read my iphone

After calling att, they asked me i need to choose if i need to use my blackberry or iphone so they can set the right data plan for my sim. I hang up and did a little more browsing and found this site, it worked perfectly, only question now running in my mind is, is it safe? is my Sim info and data will not be hack or open to the creator of this software/apps?..Thanks anyway sorry if I still have a little doubtful about the security of my SIM and accounts I open especially using the online banking over the iphone.
i get the 3G icon but it tells me that i cant connect to internet and for to check my network and try agin in a min what am i doing worng pls help
didn’t work, its says: Profile failed tin install, only one APN configuration can be installed at a time.

THENN RESTART THE IPAD
