Woopra iPhone App: Seems More Like A Myth
Will the Woopra iPhone app ever be in the App Store? It surely doesn’t seem like it.
First, the supposed developers of the woopra app start saying they’re making it and then submitted it to the App Store way back in early 2009.The developer blog stopped updating in November of 2009.
As recently as a week ago, a member of the support staff told me the new woopra iPhone app has just been submitted, but who can really believe that? I think the folks behind Woopra are really dropping the ball on this one. I mean, they tease an app, they show preview videos of it, then go silent about it?
Being able to check my Google Analytics from my iPhone is just about the only reason why I still add their code to the footer of my pages. In my opinion, Woopra’s Analytics are far superior. Just blows my mind how Woopra doesn’t keep everyone up to date on the iPhone app.

Tell us what you think.

The blog you refer to was created only for the contest and not meant to continue. I’ll update it accordingly. Thought that was done already.
Woopra is an ever evolving program and we’ve been working hard to get the iPhone app to keep up with the development of the Woopra Web and Desktop versions. We’ve made dramatic changes in Woopra, especially for commercial and enterprise members. We’ve kept our members up-to-date constantly on the status and we’re still waiting for the store to approve the app for sale. Sorry you missed that constant stream of news.
If you have any pull with Apple, why not talk to the folks at the store to see what the holdup is. We’ve been asking and not getting a response.
No controversy or issue here other than confusion over the delay by Apple.
