If you’ve been looking for a freeware program to help you quickly create new folder on your windows computer, check out mdAxel.  This little program will sit in your tray and allow you to set a hotkey or hotkey combination to create a new folder.  It’s simple and it works.  The only downside is the folder is made but not highlighted to be editable so you can rename it.  You could also use the default windows hortcut of ctrl +f, w, f.
